Currently teaching out of his home studio in West Lafayette, Toby is offering in person and zoom/facetime lessons for beginner to advanced students.

Lessons begin with the fundamentals: active listening, deliberate practice, and finding joy in the music. From there, students can explore a range of styles and skills, including popular music (rock, pop, funk, blues), Jazz (bebop, big band, improvisation and soloing), rudimental and marching percussion, reading and writing music, and much more.

With no fixed curriculum and Toby’s width of experience to draw from, lessons are tailored to the individual, letting each students’ goals and interests guide their progression.
